'One of the best experiences of my life' - Volunteer, 2019

Find out more about what volunteering with Sing Inside in a variety of roles involves.

Volunteering with Sing Inside is uplifting, inspiring and above all else - fun. It's an amazing way to meet new people and share the joy of learning music together.

Watch this video to find out what our volunteers say about working with us!

"It's fun. It's life affirming. We leave knowing we have connected with other people in ways we haven't done before." Steve, volunteer

As a volunteer on a workshop, you will spend a day or several days in a prison learning songs alongside residents, staff and other volunteers. Sing Inside musical leaders will teach warm ups, vocal technique and songs to the whole group together, and our workshops culminate in a performance opportunity within the prison. No musical experience is necessary - just enthusiasm and willingness to get involved!

You can also volunteer with us as a fundraiser, project officer, member of one of our local committees, or a trustee. Keep an eye on the current opportunities page for available roles, or contact to see how you can get involved.
